Women’s Health: Celebrate Being A Woman With Longevity, OPI & Elemis
To celebrate the power of being a woman in the month of May, Longevity has partnered with OPI and Elemis to formulate a unique breakfast workshop for mothers, daughters, sisters and friends.
The workshop is designed to discuss the women’s health code and engage on some of the more sensitive issues women encounter in today’s modern, demanding world. From women’s hormonal health, skin and body health, to sexual health and intimacy, as well as cyber vulnerability, we will be discussing it all.
Our passionate and informed panel of female specialists will share valuable codes for living, while you are inspired and pampered in on of Johannesburg’s leading venues.

DR SLY NEDIC
General practitioner with a special interest in aesthetics and hormonal medicine based at 8th Sense Clinic.
Dr Sly Nedic is a founder of 8th Sense medi-spa in Sandton, where she passionately combines aesthetic with anti-aging medicine, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, preventative genetic testing, and nutrigenetics. She is an HPCSA-registered MD and Allied Health Profession Council-registered acupuncturist.
Dr Nedic is a member of numerous aesthetic and anti-aging societies: WOSIAM (Europe), WOSAAM (EUROPE), A4M (USA), IHS (USA) IFM (USA), SAAIM (South Africa). She is also a member of the advisory board for scientific paper publications for Prime Magazine (Europe) and the advisory board for A2 Magazine (SA). Being a faculty member of Academy Reunis, Luxemburg, she has delivered many international lectures in preventive genetics. She holds numerous international accreditations for aesthetics procedures.
DR CAREEN RASCHER
Psychiatrist and sexual medicine specialist based in Parktown.
Dr Careen Rascher is a sexual medicine expert and psychiatrist. She recently became a Fellow of the European Committee of Sexual Medicine, and has started consulting patients with sexual problems at the Wits Donald Gordon Medical Centre. Her practice is called My Sexual Health. Here she works with a multidisciplinary team which includes doctors who are specialists in sexual medicine, pelvic-floor physiotherapists and psychologists or sex therapists.

Jacqueline Fick is currently employed by Cell C as executive head: Forensic Services and has also temporarily managed the Information Security portfolio. She has over 20 years’ experience in the investigation and prosecution of various types of crimes, with a specific focus on the prevention and investigation of cybercrime. Fick has also delivered television interviews, articles, presentations and workshops, both locally and internationally, on topics such as cybercrime, the prevention and prosecution thereof, information governance, information assurance and cyber forensic readiness. Jacky holds the following qualifications: B Iuris, LLB and MBA.

Elemis Education Manager
With over 15 years’ experience in somatology, Varsha Sharma, national training and business development manager for Elemis South Africa, is passionate about a holistic approach to wellbeing. A career in skincare evolved into a more diverse approach to beauty. A proudly South African woman, she set her sights on gaining international experience that she could share on her return home.
As the international training manager for Dubai and the surrounding countries, Varsha Sharma was exposed to immensely high standards. Her skills include a multitude of specialised treatments and therapies, including detoxification, Ayurvedic treatments, as well as training with Buddhists during her time spent with Buddha Attitude. Returning to South Africa, Elemis was the perfect match: a brand at the forefront of beauty, technology and innovation.

Bonieta Sonnekus has been in the beauty industry for over 12 years. She acquired her diploma in cosmetology and a certificate in business management
and marketing from the South West Gauteng College. She has gone from a nail technician and beauty therapist to owning her own beauty salon.
Bonieta Sonnekus has always worked with OPI, she fell in love with the OPI brand from her very first introduction. Her experience and knowledge, not just of the nail industry, but of OPI, makes her the perfect candidate to educate, grow the brand and uplift nail technician countrywide.
