Since you can essentially juice almost every edible vegetable and fruit, you can really explore flavor combinations. There are no limitations. This new addition to your kitchen repertoire can make supplementing your nutrition fun and tasty. Today we have access to many nutritional powders that can easily be added to your juice. Daniel suggests: β€œThe easiest way to enhance your nutritional intake is to add superfood powders to your daily juice. Barleygrass and wheatgrass powders provide mineral density, and algae powders such as blue-green algae, spirulina and chlorella are packed with 60% bioavailable protein.

Bentley thinks vitamin C-rich camu camu is a fabulous addition to your morning wake-me-up. β€œIt energisez you, helps to support your nervous system and adrenals, plus it is really good for preventing depression and anxiety. Adaptogen herbs such as astragalus, maca, ashwagandha, foti and taheebo also support your energy levels and stress capacity.”

Which juicer is the best?juice | Longevity LIVE

When it comes to juicers, the experts are on the same page. Bentley says: β€œI have an Oscar and I love it!” Daniel is clear: β€œAn Oscar is hands-down the best machine, and I’ve tried many!”

An Oscar is a masticating juicer, meaning it grinds your fruit, veg and leaves slowly, instead of spinning them like a centrifugal juicer. This means you get more juice and more goodness out of the produce, plus it’s easy to clean. The second-best option is the hand juicer, which has the same masticating mechanism as the Oscar, but it is time-consuming. A centrifugal juicer is fine, but you can’t really juice the leaves, plus you lose a lot of liquid and the juice oxidizes quickly. You can make juice in a blender with a nutmilk bag for straining – again, the juice will oxidize faster than with a masticating juicer.

Top Tip For Juice:

Make your juice in the morning, so you can start your day off with a fresh alkalizing glass, but make extra to keep in a flask and sip on throughout the day.

Here are two recipes for the best green juices for your health needs:
