With summer now in sight, we’re all taking part in more outdoor activities and perhaps trying to catch a bit of a tan. That sounds like the weirdest thing. I don’t mean that you now need to go and down your entire bottle of sunscreen. (Please, don’t do this!) It just means that you need to start eating more protective food,
However, doing this takes time and you need to give your body time to get enough of these foods before you pounce right into the sunlight. Personally, I feel that using sunscreen does more harm than good. We all have different opinions but there are studies to prove it’s toxic effects on our bodies.
Ironically, when we all believed that sun exposure was the main issue, it seems that it’s the solution to many of our ailments. This is why we need to spend more time in the sun! That’s why if you start eating correctly, you should inevitably be able to handle more sunlight than those who don’t whether or not you’ve got fair skin.
Having said that, you still need to be mindful about how much time you spend in the sun. You don’t want to overdo it because that’s just asking for trouble. However, it is very possible to eat a diet that is going to protect you from the inside out.
