Jennifer Aniston’s zone diet might be a simple eating plan to try out next. The gorgeous actress is envied for her hair and muscular, fit – but not too skinny body, worldwide. I bet she works darn hard to keep it up too!  The actress always makes healthy eating a priority and opts for fresh, whole foods over restrictive fad diets.

It’s no surprise that she looks incredible! She says that you’ll never find any prepackaged meals in her fridge. Instead, she makes an effort to get her meal prep staples up-to-scratch like pre-cut veggies, fruits, and protein. However, she doesn’t enjoy restricting herself to the point of no return and enjoys indulging in lighter, tastier versions of pasta dishes.

Jennifer shares her general philosophy on eating healthy. She tells Yahoo that it’s really simple. All you need to do is eat as many organic fruits and veggies as you can. Keep your sugar intake low and drink tons of water. Lastly, be sure to get enough sleep!

Jennifer Aniston’s Zone Meals

Having said that, the actress is, of course, super wealthy. As a result, she can afford to pay her very own personal chef to ensure she eats in line with her goals.

However, you don’t need your own chef to look amazing. All you need to do is focus on nourishing your body inside and out with good, whole foods. She follows the Zone diet. It was created by former scientist Dr. Barry Sears. The Zone Diet involves getting 40 percent of your daily total caloric intake from carbohydrates, 30 percent from carbs, and 30 percent from fats. According to Sears, when you balance the correct amount of amino acids with carbs, you will be able to control your appetite to prevent overeating. Often, this is what leads people to weight gain.

The diet recommends its followers to eat three portion-controlled meals and two snacks a day. This prevents you from getting too hungry – or moody. Jennifer Aniston loves the Zone diet so much that she even calls it the Jennifer Aniston Diet!

Moreover, Aniston despises fad diets and says she prefers to give her body what it needs, rather than depriving it.

The Zone Diet Menu

Jennifer ensures that she keeps her breakfast staples filling, hearty, and delicious. She also shares that she enjoys a cup of warm lemon water as she wakes up and then has a shake of avocado and eggs. The actress tells Bon Appetit that she enjoys eating her eggs over easy. She cracks them into a bowl and adds a white or two into it. Then she pours it all into the pan to get a protein boost!Jennifer Aniston's zone [longevity live]

Jennifer tells Elle magazine that she also enjoys eating oatmeal with an egg whipped up at the end. She says it takes the smallest action to sneak in that little extra protein! Right before the oatmeal is finished cooking, just whip in an egg white. The egg white will give it a fluffy texture that’s delicious.

Smoothies Are Jennifer’s Favorite

Jennifer Aniston’s zone diet also includes lots of smoothies. She says she loves whipping up a tasty breakfast smoothie. She enjoys blending bananas, cherries, a protein powder of some sort, almonds, cacao powder, and all sorts of other antioxidant ingredients like maca powder with almond milk.

She also says that she tries to stick to one cup of coffee a day.

Then, when it comes to lunch and dinner, she loves salads. Especially really delicious ones! She ensures that her salads always consist of some form of vegetables with a protein for lunch and/or dinner. In addition, Aniston is a big fan of frozen grapes, especially red ones. If you’ve never tried this, you need to try it now! Frozen grapes taste like sweet little balls of sorbet ice cream.

Jennifer Aniston’s zone diet means being flexible too. If she randomly feels hungry before dinner, she’ll go for a cheese stick or a cup of soup.

Being healthy and all is great, but it can be a bit boring after a while. That’s why Jennifer swears that she loves going all out on Mexican food. Her particular weakness lies with tortilla chips and salsa, while she also enjoys eating some pasta here and there. Her ex-husband’s pasta carbonara was a winner, and Jennifer calls it ‘irresistible.’ She says she learned how to make it, and it’s not that bad for you.

However, she still tries to keep the recipe clean by using free-range, organic eggs and turkey bacon instead of real bacon. Lastly, she does not use any oil, butter, or creams and uses oats water to make it juicier. Believe it or not, the actress also enjoys a lighter vegetable-style lasagna. Her recipe includes using zucchini and eggplant as pasta, layering it with different cheeses, and putting it in the oven.

Jennifer Aniston’s zone diet doesn’t involve working out 24/7 and being super restrictive. She says that you don’t have to do that much to be fit, all you need to do is remain consistent and disciplined. She is one of the most consistent people worldwide and keeps her health, diet, and physical activity all in moderation.
