Toolkit for The Working Woman

On  Friday the 4th of March, we were welcomed by Lori Milner and Nadia Bilchik at Hyatt Regency in Rosebank for the launch of their latest book, Own Your Space: The Toolkit For The Working Woman. Over a delicious breakfast, some of the most successful women in South African business discussed ways in which women can own their own space, especially their own head space.

I left the morning inspired and motivated to be the best version of myself and with a toolkit in hand that describes exactly how I am going to achieve this, I am going to let you all in on this little gem of female empowerment.

Own Your Space

According to the publisher, Pan Macmillan:

Own Your Space provides practical tools and insights gleaned from workshops held around the world and from interviews with some of South Africa’s most accomplished women to provide you with tried-and-tested techniques, tips and advice to help you boost your career, enhance your confidence and truly own your space on every level. By mastering your head space, your physical space, your interpersonal and networking skills as well as overcoming the negative effects of past conditioning, you will learn how to develop the unshakable confidence to achieve absolutely anything. Own Your Space is the ultimate ‘toolkit’ to unleash your true power. It’s for the woman who wants to take her career to new heights and who is ready to fulfill her true potential.

Own Your Space is based on the experience of both Lori and Nadia, with contributions from some of South Africa’s most successful women and a handful of international business women.
