Sharon Osbourne admits to battling with depression
Sharon Osbourne, co- host of the popular American show The Talk revealed on Monday that she has been battling with depression for 16 years.
Sharon opened up about her personal struggle with depression during a discussion regarding Wayne Brady’s recent interview with Eisha Tyler. The 62-year-old cancer survivor admitted that she first sought help more than a decade ago and has been on medication ever since.
Sharon spoke openly about her struggle saying: “Some days are better than others and some days you just want to pull the sheets over your head and stay in that bed and not do a damn thing except rot.”
Sharon’s daughter Kelly, 30, and her son Jack, 28, have also both publicly battled depression.
Kelly reportedly turned to prescription drugs to deal with the depression and anxiety of adolescence as a teenager.
