Food Freedom Forever: Longevity Book Club
The Longevity team shares their favorite new books with you in this article. This one features Food Freedom Forever by Melissa Hartwig.
What is food freedom?” you may ask. This concept refers to giving up your obsession with calorie counting, nutrition restriction and the scales. It means understanding the impact that different food types have on your health. It means eating in a way that is truly healthy – for both your body and your mind. No stress, no shame – just health. Click here to find out exactly why nutrition has such an enormous effect on your health.
Hartwig started the Whole30 programme, which has taken the Internet by storm. It’s a 30-day challenge that asks you to focus on making good nutrition choices and eliminating food types which may be negatively impacting on your energy levels, causing you aches and pains, and preventing you from losing weight. However, this programme is not meant to last for more than 30 days. Its purpose is to act as a restart button, allowing you to detox, heal and reset.
So, the question is: “What next?” This book is Hartwig’s answer.
