I love using them in my smoothies because they add a delicious sweetness that gets rid of your sugar cravings. Top that with some green tea, and you’ve got a recipe for a healthy, fit body.

The only thing you need to be concerned about is keeping your measurements of each ingredient aligned with your goals. Otherwise, you will be in for a calorie bomb.
Wild Blueberry Smoothie Bliss
This is a creamy, low carbohydrate and low sugar breakfast, or lunch, that is high protein and absolutely delicious.
I bet you didn’t know that the wild blueberry has twice the amount of antioxidants than regular blueberries. If you eat a diet rich in antioxidants you will help reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s and other age-related diseases.
The wild blueberry is tasty and good for you. But, when you combine it with powdered green tea leaves, called Matcha. You will triple the disease-fighting antioxidant power of your smoothie. Matcha is a green powder, which has also been found to boost metabolism known as your fat burning engine. Wild Blueberry Protein Smoothie Recipe
- 1 cup frozen Wild Blueberries
- Add 1/2 frozen Banana
- 1/2 Avocado
- Blend 1/2 cup low-fat Greek Yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Matcha Green Tea powder
- 1/2 cup Baby Spinach
- 1/4 cup Coconut Milk
- 1/4 cup Hemp Seeds
- 1 Scoop Protein Powder (Preferably Chocolate or Vanilla flavor.)
Blend all your ingredients together. You can now sprinkle a few ingredients on top for an extra crunch. Try sprinkling a small handful of sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, more frozen wild blueberries or even flax seeds.
This is not a very sweet smoothie. However, the protein powder and the wild blueberries make it quite delicious. You can always add 1/2 a teaspoon of raw honey if you require a slightly sweeter taste.
